Townsquare Interactive Takes the Ballpark: Charlotte Knights Game Recap  

On Friday, August 1, about 75 TSI team members swapped their laptops for baseball caps and headed to Uptown Charlotte for a night at the ballpark! We kicked things off with happy hour at The Pub at Uptown, where the drinks, laughter and nacho cheese flowed as freely as the conversation. Spirits were high… until Mother Nature decided to throw a curveball of her own. 

A giant thunderstorm rolled in, drenching many employees as they made their way to happy hour, delaying the first pitch and making us wonder if our big night was about to be rained out. But in true TSI fashion, we kept the energy going, rain or shine. Then the skies eventually cleared and we even spotted a double rainbow (what does this mean?! IYKYK). Game on! 

The Charlotte Knights delivered a nail-biter, clinching a 4–3 victory, and the atmosphere was electric from start to finish. Because it was Harry Potter Night, the stadium was filled with everything from wands to wizard robes, making the crowd just as entertaining as the game. And, as if that wasn’t enough magic for one evening, the night ended with Friday fireworks lighting up the sky over the field. 

It was the perfect combination of good company, great baseball, and just the right amount of weather-related suspense to keep things interesting.
